The third PhD School is organized by SU at its premises. It is a detailed treatment of the properties of glide-symmetric materials,
starting from fundamentals on periodic structures in electromagnetics (usually not covered in Master courses, therefore necessary to all
researchers) with full details on theory, modelling, applications. Lectures will be given on glide-symmetric lenses, topogical properties of metamaterials, and applications to aerospace and automotive engineering. A previous version of this course has
been organized in 2023 as a part of the ESoA network and co-sponsored by the SyMat COST Action on higher symmetries.
