Sinowave was founded in 2011. Its main area of work is the development of 100-200 GHz advanced antenna components for automotive and industrial sensing. Over the years it developed collaborations with major technical companies (Ericsson, Huawei, Malaysia Telekom, Nokia, etc) to support high risk and pilot research activities. It has generated 8 patents jointly with partners in the domains of wireless communication, radar, integrated circuits, antenna and packaging area. Sinowave participates to the H2020 project Int5Gent, where its role is the development of a new 110-170 GHz active antenna and transceiver hardware for the project which will be demonstrated in a future mobile network. The owner Dr. Zhongxia Simon He jointly works at Chalmers University of Technology as an Associate Professor. He has supervised/co-supervised 7 PhD students and over 10 master students in mm-wave and THz hardware and system field.
